// about_988wi
988wi is an online casino and sports betting platform built with Pakistani players at its core. We believe in clear information, fair play and tools that keep you in control.
// our_story
988wi was built with a clear purpose: to create an online gaming experience that actually works for players in Pakistan. That means a platform optimised for mobile connections in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad, with a game library covering the sports Pakistani fans genuinely follow — PSL cricket, ICC tournaments, T20 internationals, football and UFC — alongside a full casino offering from live dealer tables to modern video slots.
The platform has been designed from the ground up to prioritise transparency. Wagering requirements are written in plain language. Odds are displayed clearly before every bet. Responsible gambling tools — deposit limits, loss limits, session timers and self-exclusion — are built directly into the account dashboard, not buried in a support ticket queue.
We understand that players in Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan and Peshawar have specific expectations when it comes to payment methods. Familiar references like Easypaisa, JazzCash, Raast and major bank transfers are part of the conversation on this platform — though whether any specific method is available depends on the operator cashier and each payment provider's own terms. We don't make claims we can't stand behind.
From day one, 988wi has operated on the principle that informed players make better decisions. Every section of this site — the Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy, the Responsible Gambling page and this About Us page — is written in straightforward English because clarity is a form of respect.
"Our mission is to offer a premium gaming experience that puts Pakistani players in control — with honest information, responsive support and tools that encourage responsible play."
— 988wi Platform Team
The idea for 988wi was shaped around one observation: Pakistani online gaming players were underserved by platforms that didn't account for local payment habits, local sports culture or local language preferences.
With the majority of Pakistani internet users accessing content on mobile, 988wi was engineered mobile-first — fast load times, touch-optimised navigation and a responsive UI that works on entry-level Android devices.
Partnerships with game and data providers expanded the library to cover slots, live dealer, table games, instant games and a full sportsbook with cricket as a primary focus across PSL, T20 and ICC formats.
Player protection tools were integrated into the core account panel — not as afterthoughts. Deposit caps, loss limits, reality checks and self-exclusion are available to every registered player from day one.
// mission_values
These are the principles that guide every decision we make at 988wi — from product features to customer support responses.
Terms are written in plain English. Bonus conditions, wagering requirements and withdrawal rules are clearly stated before you accept an offer. We don't hide conditions in footnotes or change terms without notice.
Responsible gambling is built into the platform architecture. Budget tools, time limits and self-exclusion are standard account features, not optional add-ons. 988wi is for adults aged 18 and over only — no exceptions.
From PSL cricket markets to PKR balance displays and familiar local payment references, 988wi reflects the daily reality of Pakistani players rather than a generic global template.
Game outcomes are determined by certified random number generation (RNG) or live dealer procedures from vetted providers. RTP ranges are presented as illustrative examples, and results are not manipulated by the platform.
Your personal data is handled in accordance with the 988wi Privacy Policy. KYC documents are processed through secure HTTPS channels only. We never instruct users to submit sensitive documents through unsecured chat or third-party links.
A 24/7 live chat team and email support line ensure that players across all time zones — and across cities from Karachi to Peshawar — can get help when they need it. Support is available in English, with Urdu available on request.

Six areas where 988wi takes a deliberate stand for the player's experience.
The entire platform is engineered to run smoothly on mid-range Android devices common across Pakistan. Fast rendering, low data consumption and a clean UI even on smaller screens.
SSL encryption protects all platform traffic. Account access supports two-factor authentication. KYC verification is conducted through a secure, dedicated HTTPS portal — not chat channels.
Every betting market shows odds clearly before you place a wager. Cricket lines, PSL outright markets, live in-play pricing and football odds are all presented without hidden mark-ups obscuring the real return.
Bonus wagering requirements, withdrawal windows and account conditions are written in clear English. The Terms & Conditions document is structured by section so you can find the rule that applies to your situation quickly.
Live chat is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week — including during PSL match nights and ICC tournament weekends. Email support serves as a secondary channel for detailed account queries.
Deposit limits, session time reminders, loss caps and self-exclusion are all available directly inside your account settings. You set them — and increases take effect only after a cooling-off period to prevent impulsive changes.
// pakistan_commitment
Pakistan is not an afterthought at 988wi. It is the entire point of reference for how this platform was designed and continues to be developed.
All content is written in natural professional English that reflects Pakistani culture, sports references, cities and payment habits — without switching to a generic global tone or requiring translation.
Account balances, deposit confirmations and promotional figures are displayed in Pakistani Rupees so you always know exactly where you stand without mental currency conversion.
PSL, T20 internationals, ICC World Cup events — cricket is given dedicated market depth on 988wi rather than being lumped in with an afterthought sports menu.
We do not claim to be approved, licensed or endorsed by any Pakistani authority, bank or payment provider. We encourage players to understand applicable local laws. This is stated clearly, not hidden.
// responsible_play
988wi takes player protection seriously. We provide practical tools — not just policy statements — to help you maintain healthy habits. Every account comes with access to the full suite of responsible gambling controls from day one.
Gambling is entertainment. It involves financial risk. 988wi is for adults aged 18 and over only — or the higher minimum required by the operator's license jurisdiction. Local laws in Pakistan may restrict gambling. Participation is your responsibility, and we provide the tools to help you stay in charge.
For detailed guidance on our player protection tools, visit the Responsible Gambling page.
Set daily, weekly or monthly caps on deposits. Limits take effect immediately and cannot be increased without a mandatory cooling-off period.
Define the maximum amount you are willing to lose over a set period. Once reached, no further bets can be placed until the period resets.
Receive alerts when your session reaches a set duration. Regular breaks help maintain perspective on play activity and spending.
Request a temporary or permanent exclusion from the platform. Contact support to activate. Exclusions cannot be reversed during the selected period.
988wi processes your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Your information is used solely to operate your account, conduct KYC verification and improve platform services. Documents submitted for verification are transmitted over secure HTTPS connections only. We do not share your data with third parties except where required by law or necessary for platform operation. Review the full Privacy Policy for details on data retention, your rights and how to request deletion of your data.
